The main dish in Asian’s food are usually served with rice, which acts as the main food chain in our lives. But of course, it’s not perfect but I would also like to share on how you can eat rice with both fork and spoon.

Normally, with rice in front of us during mealtime, we can eat with either fork, spoon, chopsticks or even fingers, but of course it will be covered in later times.

To start with it, first is to have one of your hand to scope almost half of the spoonful of rice. (I’m a left-hander).

And of course to ensure everything is in place, it’s best to support with a fork on your other hand.

With that said and done, you are now ready to have your first taste of the rice. Enjoy!

How to prepare green tea to drink at Genki Sushi?

I guess most of us likes Japanese food, some of us doesn’t. But with my recent trip to Genki Sushi, which is a local Japanese Sushi stall you can find on any big shopping centre around Malaysia, you can order your dish or drinks like Sake, but what if you wanted to just have Green Tea? Here’s a quick guide to it. Have fun.

Of course upon sitting down on the seat, you’ll be asked by the waiter if you want a different drink, and on the table itself, there is one black rounded, cylinder, which has green tea’s powder inside. And you will be given a cup.

And using the wooden stick, you can put in 1 1/2 tablespoon or suit your need. Beware not to put in too much of powder or else it will taste awful.

Next, by placing the green tea container in it’s place, you can no safely locate the place where you can fill in hot water from the taps. Careful, it’s hot water.

Beware not to hurt yourself with the water, and to draw water from the tap, simply place the cup on it’s position and push it inside forcing the water to come out. And there you have it, a hot boiled green tea. Enjoy.

How to prepare instant noodle (II)?

In this guide I will share with you some quick guide in preparing an instant noodle from Korea that I bought from the shopping mall recently. Which I guess is not that hard. Hope you’ll enjoy it.

With this imported from Korea itself, which some of the flavours are KimChi, do expect it’ll cost a lot more than the usual instant cup noodle you’ll eat, this one is around RM2 or more.

Kindly start by opening the package and the lid of the cup.

As you open, you’ll normally have both the seasoning and the fork.

By opening the package of the seasoning, you can now start to pour it into the cup, the amount you are going to pour is up to personal preferences.

Provided as well inside the package are the foldable plastic fork which you can use to eat the noodle when it is prepared.

To prepare the noodle, you’ll have to first prepare hot water from either a kettle or cooking it. You can learn how to boil water using a kettle.

Next, close the lid and wait for 3 minutes or more for the noodle to be prepared. Enjoy!

How to drink from packet drink

Our old time children favourite, which packet drinks came in different flavours and colours. Here I would like to share this guide to drinking from a packet drink.

Here’s how a generic one would look like, with the straw and placed together by the side of the packet.

First we will have to take out the straw from the packaging.

And once we remove the plastic that is enveloping the straw, which on the bent side are to face upward, we will insert the straw into the packet drink.

Look for the ‘Insert Straw Here’ indication on the top of the packet drink. And with little force, it’s best to hold the packet drink with your other hand so the drink wouldn’t be spilled on all over the table.

And when you have insert it in, you can push it right deep inside the packet drink. Enjoy.

How to prepare an instant noodle cup?

I woke up in the morning today and I really something for my tummy, which can be done within minutes. That’s when the idea of instant noodle cup came into my mind! You can get this from various hypermarkets for around R.M. 1.50 to R.M. 2.00. But it varies on different brand. I decided to take up Mamee for a try.

Before feeding yourself with the instant noodle. Prepare boiled water, which if you’re unfamiliar with, you can learn how to boil water using a kettle.

While boiling the water, we’ll do some preparation, by opening up the cup’s lid and take out the ingredients.

By default, you’ll have the basic item, the foldable fork and a pack of seasoning.

Before putting in the seasoning, here’s a quick reminder before opening the packet, because it’s all powder inside, shake it and move all the powder at the bottom and open at the top of it so you’ll able to avoid the powder from spilling all over the places. Shake shake shake.

And when you have opened the packet, slowly put the amount of seasoning you feel that you want for the soup to taste like. It’s best to remain the less the better.

While we have just prepared the basic setup for the noodle cup, I guess the water we boiled just now is ready at the moment, what we’ll need now is to pour the water inside. Do it slowly. Be cautious, it’s hot water.

Around 80% of the cup of water is sufficient, though it’s stated on the lid where 300cc of water is needed, i had heck of idea what is cc, celcius? cc for car engine? lol. Less water means more ’stiff’ noodles, while more means it’ll be watery.

When you have done, close the lid properly. And wait for 2 minutes. Though as stated it’s 3 minutes, but I guess when you’re eating that time, it’ll even start to cook the noodle by itself because of the hot water, because by 5 minute, all of the noodle will start to turn into somethign which doesn’t feel too good for the mouth, as in, very powderish?

Enjoy! Oh before I forgot, stir around to make sure the seasoning is mixing well with the water.
